From Eldon Celtic to Glasgow Celtic
Eldon Celtic’s Darnell Fisher has been offered the chance of a week’s trial with the Glasgow Celtic under-17 squad. Darnell, who has already trained with the players, was one of three Eldon players to shine when they beat the Jimmy Johnstone Academy under-16 team 4-2 in a friendly at Eton College. Lewis Artherly and Harlee Clark also impressed Academy president Jim Simonettie and they, too, were invited to play for a Jimmy Johnstone International Select in the Glasgow Rangers tournament, but they had to turn down the chance due to other commitments.
